I'm Meghan Grote Shear!  I'm a lifelong Huntingtonian who truly loves my hometown.  My work as a licensed real estate expert at the Howard Hanna | Coach Realtors’ Huntington office is built on years of experience.  I grew up with real estate in my DNA—my mother was a realtor, and my parents were always buying and selling homes in Huntington. Their passion for houses and design was infectious!  This early exposure led me to jump into the mortgage industry right out of college, giving me crucial hands-on experience with the financial side of transactions. Simultaneously, I built a successful and lengthy career teaching, earning my certifications to teach Mathematics, Special Education and Business & Marketing courses to grades 5–12.

I believe in being efficient, loyal, and punctual in everything I do. My commitment is always to you, my client, and my biggest goal is helping you achieve all your real estate dreams! I pride myself on being an empathetic and patient agent who will always adapt to your specific situation. I'm a proud graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1999.  I hold an undergraduate's degree in Business Management and Mathematics from Stony Brook University. Continuing my education, I earned a master's degree from Dowling College in Secondary Education, specializing in working with students with disabilities in mathematics. Because I'm deeply invested in my community, I also enjoy volunteering with the Greenlawn Civics Association.

When I'm not helping people achieve their real estate goals, I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
